Course description
This course reinforces the material that students learned in physical science. The course further explores the structure of atoms, families of elements and the periodic table, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, solutions, and acids and bases. The course also introduces major concepts in chemistry including the mole, electron configurations, solids, liquids, and gases. Exploration and learning of these units will take place through notes, discussion, labs, activities, and research. |
